 NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO
PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Babylon, County of Suffolk, State of New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of July, 2010, duly adopted a resolution, subject to a Permissive Referendum, an abstract of which is as follows:
 

RESOLUTION NO.  452  JULY 14, 2010
AUTHORIZING THE SUPERVISOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL OF SUFFOLK, INC.

  WHEREAS, the Town of Babylon is desirous of executing a lease agreement with Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. for a portion of the premises located at 48 Cedar Road, North Amityville, New York, and known as the North Amityville Community Center, for a period of two (2) years, effective the 1st day of April, 2010 through the 31st day of March, 2012; and


  WHEREAS, said tenant shall pay the annual rent of Six Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Nine and 80/100 ($6,889.80) Dollars and said rent to be paid in equal monthly payments of Five Hundred Seventy-Four and 15/100 ($574.15) Dollars in advance on the 1st day of each and every month during the term of this lease, from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2012;


  NOW, THEREFORE, be it


  RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Babylon that the Supervisor be and he is hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement with Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. for a period of two years from April 1, 2010 through and including March 31, 2012, at an annual rent in the amount of Six Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Nine and 80/100 ($6,889.80) Dollars and said rent to be paid in equal monthly payments of Five Hundred Seventy-Four and 15/100 ($574.15) Dollars in advance on the 1st day of each and every month during the term of this lease, from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2012; and be it further


  RESOLVED, that the lease shall be subject to the approval of the Town Attorney as to form and content; and be it further


  RESOLVED, that this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum and the Town Clerk be and she hereby is directed to publish notice of the adoption of this resolution.
