On Friday, July 20, 2018, the Town of Babylon will host the 11th Annual Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride. This event is a 25-mile bicycle ride through the Town of Babylon to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and support service members who have been injured in the line of duty and their families. The route begins at Town Hall in Lindenhurst and ends at Overlook Beach on Ocean Parkway. Since 2008, over $1,000,000 has been raised for the Wounded Warrior Project as a result of this event.

Online registration ends on July 19th at 5:00 PM. Riders can register as a team if they wish. Registration will be available on event day.

Registered riders may pick up their packets on Thursday, July 19 at American Legion Post 1120 on 80 Herbert Avenue in Lindenhurst from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The schedule for the ride on July 20 is as follows: 

7:00 AM - Registration and Packet Pickup Opens
9:00 AM - Opening Ceremony
9:30 AM - Ride begins
Post ride - Community Picnic

The ride is rain or shine. Transportation will provided from the end point at Overlook Beach back to Town Hall.
