Hometown Heroes Banner Program

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman and Veterans Advisory Board Chairman DuWayne Gregory and the rest of the Town Board are proud to announce the Hometown Heroes Banner Program in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Lindenhurst! Banners will be hung across the town's 10 hamlets featuring the name and photo of service men and women from the Town of Babylon.

The banners, which will hang between Memorial Day and Veterans Day on over 800 light poles across the town, will be an amazing way to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for us here at home.

Applications will be available in early 2021. Subscribe to our email notification system to find out when applications go online.

Banners will cost $200, with a portion of the proceeds going to one of three veterans organizations of your choosing (listed on application). You will also receive a 4"x6" copy and digital copy of the banner, as well as the chance to share your loved one's story to our website.

Check in to this page for updates as we get closer to the new year!
