Supervisor Rich Schaffer and Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez recently attended an Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony for John Evola of Boy Scout Troop 175 of West Babylon.
For his project, John created a monument at West Babylon Fire Station number two that’s dedicated to the uniformed men and women who serve our community. The monument honors military, fire, EMS and police heroes. Along with the monument. John created a walkway, planters and outdoor lighting.
Supervisor Schaffer and Deputy Supervisor Martinez congratulated John on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and thanked him for his service to our community.
