[ARCHIVED] Town Board Recognizes Local Church for 150 Years of Service

Town Board Honors OLPH

The Town of Babylon proudly congratulates Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church (OLPH) in Lindenhurst on their 150th anniversary of serving our community.  

At a recent meeting of the Babylon Town Board, Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and the entire board recognized Monsignor Joseph DeGrocco with a proclamation on behalf of the town. Under the leadership of Monsignor DeGrocco, OLPH has continues to strive to be a warm and welcoming parish community. Through the years, countless residents have benefited from the charitable work of OLPH and their assistance to those in need.  

The town board expresses its sincere appreciation to the members of the congregation and congratulates them on 150 years of service to the Lindenhurst community.
