[ARCHIVED] Town of Babylon Awards Scholarship to Deer Park Student


Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Department of Public Works Commissioner Tom Stay, Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon, Councilman Tom Donnelly, and Town Clerk Carol Quirk to award $1000 to Adrianne Gowie of Deer Park High School as part of the Suffolk County Highway Superintendent Association Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is open to applicants who are graduating high school seniors and interested in pursuing a career in engineering or public works. Applicants are required to write a brief essay; the best of which is selected by the commissioner to receive the scholarship.
