Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Huntington Town Councilman Mark Cuthbertson to host the annual Town of Huntington versus Town of Babylon Bocce Tournament, which was held at Huntington’s Mill Dam Park in Halesite. This friendly tournament first started in 2002 and features 16 teams of four players facing off in a round-robin style tournament to determine the champion. This year’s winner hailed from Huntington, despite a solid effort from the Babylon teams. Supervisor Schaffer thanked all involved for their participation and congratulated this year’s winners.
