The Town of Babylon has announced that this year's Surf Fishing Cup Tournament that was to be held from Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th has been cancelled due to dredging work being done at Overlook Beach. This annual competition showcases the fishing access of Town of Babylon waters and beaches, awarding prizes to those fishers who catch the heaviest bluefish and bass.
