[ARCHIVED] NYS Financial Representatives to Visit Lindenhurst to Assist Storm-Impacted Families and Businesses

Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer has announced that representatives from the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) will be on hand in Lindenhurst on Friday, November 1st to assist homeowners and businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy. The Mobile Command Center will be located at Lindenhurst Memorial Library on 1 Lee Avenue from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to assist residents with insurance claims, mortgage relief and financial issues related to the storm.

Those families and businesses impacted by Hurricane Sandy are also encouraged to call the DFC Disaster Hotline for assistance at 1-800-339-1759 Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
