[ARCHIVED] NY Rising to Hold Workshop for West Gilgo to Captree Communities

On Thursday, November 14th, the New York Rising Community Reconstruction Program will be holding an open house workshop to allow the public to provide input on the reconstruction plans for the communities of Oak Beach, Oak Island, Gilgo, West Gilgo, Captree and the Oak Island Beach Association. The workshop will be held at the Babylon High School Library from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Residents of the areas above are encouraged to stop by any time within the three hours to provide input. There will be a short presentation at 6:15 PM.

The New York Rising Community Reconstruction Program was established to provide rebuilding assistance to areas severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. For more information, please visit www.stormrecovery.ny.gov or e-mail info@stormrecovery.ny.gov.
