[ARCHIVED] Babylon Officials Honor Cardiologist for Promoting Heart Health

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with members of the Babylon Town Board to honor Dr. David Kavesteen, MD FACC of Heart & Health of North Babylon for promoting heart health in recognition of February being American Heart Month. In order to raise awareness about heart disease, Dr. Kavesteen and his practice offered free heart screenings to Town of Babylon employees. The screenings consisted of a blood pressure reading, a pulmonary function test, EKG and a pulse oxygen test to monitor high blood pressure, body oxygenation, heart rhythm-rate and lung function.
