Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer and the Babylon Town Board recently honored Mike and Lucy Domingo of Babylon’s Café Il Villagio for serving hot meals to residents without power during Superstorm Sandy. In the wake of the storm that devastated the area and left thousands without power, Café Il Villagio provided over 800 hot meals to those who were hit the hardest by the storm. As part of their efforts, Café Il Villagio went door to door in affected areas to make sure that no one without power went hungry.
Café Il Villagio is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine that is located in Babylon Village and has served the area for over 15 years.
