[ARCHIVED] Town of Babylon to Celebrate Spring with Annual Eggstravaganza

On Saturday, April 12th the Town of Babylon will commemorate the arrival of spring with the 16th annual Eggstravaganza at Phelps Lane Park in North Babylon. This year’s event will feature fun for all residents with pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny! There will also be an egg hunt throughout the park with treat-filled eggs for children ages 10 and under. The event starts at 12:00 noon and lasts until 2:00 PM. Admission is free!

“The annual Eggstravaganza truly is one of the Town of Babylon’s marquee events that we look forward to every year,” said Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, who chairs the Town’s Parks & Recreation Committee. “We have all kinds of fun and games lined up, as well as a special visit from the Easter Bunny, so I strongly encourage all of our residents to come join us as we welcome the spring holiday season.”

Phelps Lane Park is located at 151 Phelps Lane in North Babylon. For additional information, please call the Department of Parks & Recreation at (631) 893-2100.
