Hundreds of children from the Wyandanch community will be searching for Easter eggs stuffed with surprise gifts and toys during the Town of Babylon's Wyandanch Resource Center's first annual Community Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 19th! The event will take place from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at Wyandanch Park on Mount Avenue in Wyandanch.
The Town of Babylon, in collaboration with Suffolk County Legislator DuWayne Gregory, the Suffolk County Police Department and several local organizations, will also be celebrating Easter by giving away hundreds of surprise gifts and prices to children, their families and Wyandanch community members participating in the event.
The first annual Community Easter Egg Hunt is an initiative spearheaded by the Council of Thought and Action (C.O.T.A), a Long Island Movement that advocates individual growth by helping people develop life plans and helping them achieve those goals.
