[ARCHIVED] Community Leaders Unite to Help Keep Town Clean

Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with members of the Town Board to welcome the newly appointed ambassadors of the Town of Babylon’s Beautification Committee at their first meeting. The committee is made up of residents and community leaders from across the Town who will help coordinate clean-up and beautification efforts. The goal of the Beautification Committee will be to unite all areas of the Town to help maintain pride in the community by presenting an attractive, litter-free atmosphere for both residents and visitors. In attendance at the meeting along with Supervisor Schaffer were Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilwoman and Chairperson of the Beautification Program Jacqueline Gordon, Councilman Tom Donnelly and Town Clerk Carol Quirk.
