Babylon Town Councilman Tom Donnelly recently congratulated Christian N. Minicozzi of Boy Scout Troop 194 on the success of his blood drive, which collected over forty donations. Christian, a resident of West Islip, held the blood drive as part of his Eagle Project, the completion of which is a requirement for Boy Scouts to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout – the highest honor in the organization. Christian’s blood drive collected 41 donations, including 37 first time donors, and was inspired by a family member who had previously needed a blood transfusion. Councilman Donnelly presented Christian with an official Town of Babylon proclamation and wished him well in his future endeavors.
