Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Tom Donnelly to honor Sister Alice McVey of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in West Babylon for her service to the community and to congratulate her on her retirement. Supervisor Schaffer presented Sister Alice
with an official Town of Babylon proclamation to thank her for many years of dedicated service and for creating the church vegetable garden, which provides fresh produce for the church outreach food pantry. In her service with the church, Sister Alice served on numerous committees and led several successful parish missions.
