Last night, the Town of Babylon welcomed service members who are taking part in tomorrow’s 7th Annual Soldier Ride with the annual Rider Reception Dinner at the American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale. Over three hundred were in attendance for the event, which raised $9,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Guests were treated to food from Texas Roadhouse and live music from Good Luck Penny & The Willy Pete Band.

At the dinner, Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone presented the Wounded Warrior Project with a check for funds raised so far as a result of the Soldier Ride, which is now over $100,000.
