On Saturday, November 15th, Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer and Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon will join with the Town’s Veterans Advisory Committee to honor the American Flag and learn the proper method to dispose of old flags with respect from veterans who served proudly. The ceremony begins at 10:00 AM at Babylon Town Hall, located at 200 East Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.
At the ceremony, we will also be unveiling the new sign in front of Town Hall declaring the Town of Babylon as an official Purple Heart Town. Join us as we recognize those who have earned this prestigious honor for their brave actions in combat.
