St. Paul's Reformed Church recently held a dedication service and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of its new food pantry. The new food pantry, which was constructed by local volunteers, provides non-perishable food items for those in need. The well attended event commenced with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Pastor Rev. Conrad Strauch, town officials and community leaders. Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Antonio Martinez, Legislator Kevin McCaffrey, Parkdale Civic Association President Terence McSweeney and North Babylon Lions Richard Irizarry and Joe Fatuzzo joined Rev. Strauch in the ribbon-cutting celebration. A special dedication service was held as well. Afterwards, volunteers stocked the shelves with all the donations of non-perishable food items.
