[ARCHIVED] Local Officials Read to Children in honor of “Take Your Child to the Library Day”

Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilwoman Jackie Gordon recently read aloud to local children at Copiague Memorial Public Library as part of “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Deputy Supervisor Martinez read Mr. Peabody’s Apples by Madonna while Councilwoman Gordon read Ira Sleeps Over by Bernard Waber. Also reading aloud were Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature DuWayne Gregory and New York State Senator Michael Venditto.
