Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Receiver of Taxes Corinne DiSomma and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone for Lindenhurst American Little League’s opening day ceremony, which featured a ribbon cutting for the recently renovated ball field at Town Hall in Lindenhurst. The field, located just north of Town Hall, now features a state of the art turf surface, a 20 foot tall fence surrounding the field and new dugouts for players. The officials joined with little league representatives, coaches and players for a ribbon cutting to officially unveil the field and wish them a successful season.
