Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Tom Donnelly to congratulate 9Round Kickboxing in North Babylon for its first full year of successful business. 9Round Gym is a nationwide franchise that started in 2007 by professional kickboxer Shannon Hudson, which gives members the ability to learn kickboxing and boxing through personal lessons and workouts. Darren Hollis, the owner of the North Babylon gym, brought this unique gym to our community and was recognized by those in attendance for his efforts in giving back to the community by donating gift certificates to residents and frequently attending local civic meetings. The town officials congratulated the staff and owner on their accomplishment and wished for continued success for their business.
