The motto for the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce, “Pooling Resources to Better Our Community” was apparent on Saturday, November 14, 2015, as the executive chamber board members joined local Girl Scout Troop 1036 and junior honor society students in a clean-up effort on Weeks Road. By participating in the Town of Babylon Adopt-A-Highway Program, the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of keeping our neighborhood roadways clean and our community beautiful. Studies have shown that clean public parks and roadways not only make towns more beautiful, but help reduce crime. Town of Babylon officials congratulated the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce for its commitment to the betterment of the North Babylon community and thanked the youth volunteers for their participation and community service.
