Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez (back right) recently attended the graduation program honoring the 2016 graduates from the Electrical Training Center, Inc., a trade school located in Copiague. Also in attendance to honor the 17 graduates were representatives from the offices of New York State Senator Phil Boyle and Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre, Assistant Director of Electrical Training Center Robert McLaughlin, and representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing, and Consumer Affairs including Senior Deputy Commissioner Kat Daniel, Assistant Director of Education and Training Craig Horowitz, and Chief Deputy Commissioner Vanessa Pugh.
Deputy Supervisor Martinez congratulated the graduates and wished them well in their future endeavors.
The 2016 graduates, under the direction of instructor Robert Liptak, are Michael Bernstein, Leonard Burwell, Kelvin Carter, Donald Evans, Freddy Fredericks, Michael Green, Calvin Jackson, Quindale Jerrick, Brian Jessup, Frederick LoGuidice Jr., Malik McClinton, Barry Owens, Miguel Perez, Christin Smith, James Taylor, Lamar Tunson, and Robert White.
