Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilwoman Jackie Gordon recently read aloud to children at Copiague Memorial Public Library to celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Deputy Supervisor Martinez read Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin, Jr. while Councilwoman Gordon read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, also by Bill Martin, Jr. “Take Your Child to the Library Day” is a national campaign to raise community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child while promoting library services for families.
