Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and New York State Assemblyman Andrew Raia (12th AD) at the 80th Annual North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company Installation Dinner. The North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company was called upon 3,491 times in 2015, making it the second-busiest fire department in the Town of Babylon, according to Department Chief Robert Cabano.
Several fire company awards were distributed at the dinner, including the Chief Francis J. Noonan Award, received by Ex-Captain Thomas Stoltz, and the Chief William Scarangella Award, received by Ex-Chief Brian Iudica. Supervisor Schaffer congratulated the recipients on their achievements and thanked them for their service to the community.
