Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, and the rest of the Babylon Town Board announce that from January 30th through February 3rd, the Town of Babylon will be hosting a Design Charrette for the hamlet of East Farmingdale. Now is your chance to help describe the desired form and character for future development around a reopened Republic Train Station near the intersection of Route 110 and Conklin Street. Input gathered during the charrette will shape updates to the Town Code to ensure high-quality, built results.
A kick-off and design workshop will take place on January 30th from 6-9:30PM, followed by an open design studio being open from 10AM-6PM from January 31st through February 2nd. A work-in-progress presentation will take place on February 3rd from 7-9PM. All events will be held at the East Farmingdale Fire House, located at 930 Conklin Street.
