[ARCHIVED] TOWN OF BABYLON TO HOST COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE THIS TUESDAY

All donors will receive two free METS TICKETS to a 2017 home game!

(July 24, 2017-Lindenhurst, NY) – Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, in conjunction with the West Babylon Main Street Organization and Suffolk County Police Department and Commissioner Tim Sini will be hosting a Community Blood Drive. The drive will take place on Tuesday, July 25th from 1 PM to 7 PM at Babylon Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst. All donors will receive a pair of Mets tickets to a 2017 home game (voucher will be emailed to donor). Your donation will help to save up to THREE lives. Refreshments for donors will be hosted by our community partner 7-Eleven. Eligibility Criteria for donations include bringing your ID with signature or photo, and you must have a minimum weight 110 pounds. Age requirements are 16-75 ( if 16 years old you need parental permission) and if aged 76 and over please provide a doctor’s note. Please remember to eat well (low fat) and drink fluids. Any tattoos in the past 12 months will make you ineligible. If you have questions concerning your medical eligibility call 1-800-688-0900.
