Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilwoman Jackie Gordon and Special Assistant Terence McSweeney recently thanked the dedicated volunteers from Copiague Community Cares at its annual Awareness Walk and Community Clean-Up Day. Beautification Program Director Florence Findley and New York State Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre were also on-hand for the event.
Sharon Fattoruso, the organization’s founder and president, organized the clean-up effort and awareness walk with her hard-working committee to bring attention to drug use in the community.
