[ARCHIVED] Lindenhurst Community Welcomes New Gym

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Terry McSweeney and Town Clerk Gerry Compitello recently visited the grand opening of the new Blink Fitness gym in Lindenhurst. The chain’s new location (600 N. Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst) and its friendly staff will give residents a great place to exercise seven days a week. Representatives from Lindenhurst Village, Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre’s office and the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce were also in attendance.

Supervisor Schaffer and the other members of the town board congratulated Allen Pinero, the gym’s franchisee, for the opening and wished him luck with his new endeavor.
