Please see the information below from the MTA regarding Long Island Railroad work in the Deer Park area:
This Saturday 6AM – 8PM and Sunday 6AM - 8PM (4/28 and 4/29) we will be closing Long Island Avenue from Grand Blvd to Deer Street and detouring traffic as specified in our PE approved MPT road detour plans which comply with NYS DOT traffic control standards and have been reviewed with LIRR and TOB. Be advised, construction will be performed only on LIRR property. As a reminder, the small portion of Grand Blvd between Long Island Ave and Doe Street has been temporarily changed to allow for two way traffic while this detour is in effect.
