Town of Babylon Councilman Terry McSweeney and Town Clerk Gerry Compitello were joined by several members of the Long Island chapter of American Bikers for Awareness, Training & Education (ABATE) to mark the month of May as Motorcycle Awareness Month. The group met at Town Hall, where a sign was placed for the cause.

The group’s slogan, “Look twice, save a life!,” encourages drivers to be mindful of the motorcyclists they share the road with by double-checking blind spots before changing lanes or making turns.
