Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer and the rest of the Town Board were proud to recently present Long Island Cares with a check for $48,562.50. This money was raised from the 2019 Babylon Soldier Ride, where proceeds from the event were split between Long Island Cares and the Wounded Warrior Project. Long Island Cares works to help feed the hungry and provides for those in need on Long Island. Supervisor Schaffer and the Town Board thanked Long Island Cares for their valuable service to the community.
