[ARCHIVED] Babylon Officials Honor “Top Cop” in Deer Park

On Thursday, May 16, 2013, Babylon Town Councilman Tom Donnelly and Town Clerk Carol Quirk were in attendance for the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Rosary Council’s annual “Top Cop Night” in Deer Park. Honored at this year’s ceremony was Suffolk County First Precinct Police Officer James Padgett. Officer Padgett is a twelve year veteran of the Suffolk County Police Department and has received department-wide recognition for his service. In 2012, Officer Padgett made 31 arrests, including six for driving while intoxicated and four felony arrests.
