Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer and Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez joined with fellow local officials for Cub Scout Pack 1421’s Blue and Gold Banquet dinner, held at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Lindenhurst. The annual Blue and Gold Banquet is held to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Boy Scouts of America in February 1910 and also can serve as an Arrow of Light Ceremony, where cub scouts make the transition to boy scouts. Supervisor Schaffer and Deputy Supervisor Martinez congratulated the scouts on taking the next step in their scouting journey.
