Town Status Update

Town buildings remain partially closed to the public, though all essential Town services are available. You can submit a request online here to the appropriate department, who will contact you in response to your inquiry. Click here to find forms, applications and other documents.

If you do need to visit either Town Hall or the Town Hall Annex to drop off or pick-up anything related to a necessary service, there will be one entrance available to speak with a Public Safety officer. We ask that you contact the department that you need prior to your visit. To be connected with a specific department, please call (631) 957-3000.

If you are looking to obtain a Marriage License, please email marriageinfo@townofbabylon.com to schedule your appointment. Please include the date of your wedding and contact information in your request.

Knowing full well how important local business is to our community, the Town of Babylon and Babylon IDA have unveiled a variety of programs designed to lend assistance and provide necessary resources to these establishments and organizations during this difficult time. The COVID-19 pandemic has has many negative effects on us all, including mental health difficulties. If you or someone you know is in need of support, please reach out to New York Project Hope to learn how they can help at 631-471-7242 ext. 1800 or email projecthope@mhaw.org, conversations are free, confidential and anonymous.

United Way "Safe at Home for Seniors" Program

United Way’s Safe at Home for Seniors is a health and safety program in the Town of Babylon that alleviates the stress of older adults who are alone and sheltering-in-place. United Way is working in partnership with its network of agencies to connect seniors who are sheltering in place or isolated from family or a caregiver, with Bilingual Community Navigators. They act as helping hands managing everyday tasks such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions; making sure their homes have proper safety measures such as grab rails and working smoke detectors; and providing communication assistance, from connecting seniors with family members to scheduling their healthcare appointments, including registering for the COVID-19 vaccine.
