In response to the high number of passes sold today, we would like to address some misinformation that we’ve become aware of. There will be NO LIMIT on the number of passes sold this summer, and passes will be sold six days a week for the DURATION of the summer.
In an effort to give residents more time to get a pass and ease traffic congestion in the neighborhoods surrounding Phelps Lane Park, RECREATION PERMITS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRANCE TO OUR FACILITIES THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. Permits will be required starting SATURDAY, JUNE 13th.
In order to be courteous to our neighbors, the North Babylon School District, as they carry out special programs - PASSES WILL GO ON SALE AT 1PM TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY (normally 12pm). Cars will not be allowed to lineup before 12:30pm.
Due to COVID-19 staffing restrictions, we are currently only selling passes at Phelps Lane Park. However, our Parks Department is making plans to sell passes at other locations, which will be announced in the near future.
