[ARCHIVED] Deer Park Junior Community Association Recognized

Deer Park Jrs resize

Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Terence McSweeney, SC Legislator Tom Donnelly, Beautification Director Viscel Moore and First Precinct of SCPD were on hand to recognize and thank the Deer Park Junior Community Association kids for all of their efforts and generosity during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic as parents and members of the Deer Park Community Association looked on with pride.

The kids kept busy with projects such as making cards and signs of love, support and encouragement for our first responders, frontline healthcare workers and seniors during the height of the pandemic. They continued their kindness with bagged sweet treats they put together for the police offices of the First Precinct and provided essential hygienic products for the homeless. The Jr’s., which include three TOB Junior Beautification Ambassadors, help their parent group, the Deer Park Community Association, carry out their mission to enhance the quality of life in Deer Park and beyond.
